The Circle of Friends organization, a student support group at Pleasanton Public Schools, is holding a quilt raffle to raise money.  The quilt being raffled was designed and created by Junior Sarah Lucht. Approximately 80 hours of labor were involved in making this one of a kind extra long 65” x 95”quilt.  Sarah entered the quilt in the Nebraska State Fair competition and received a Purple ribbon for her efforts, it was noted that her quilt had the “best binding” at the state competition.  The quilt also received Special Recognition from the Nebraska State Quilt Guild for its quality and design.

The quilt has an estimated value of between $900 and $1,200, which makes the price of a raffle ticket at $5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets an excellent investment.  The quilt will be available for inspection at the Pleasanton Public Schools. Are you feeling lucky today???
