Pleasanton Daycare Changes

We have recently been informed that Mrs. Judy Trent, our Daycare provider has accepted a position unrelated to daycare outside of Pleasanton Public Schools, her last day will be February 26th.  We have been in contact with the Nebraska Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the Sherman County Prevention Coalition as well as a few schools in regard to exploring options  we may consider to continue providing after school care for those children we are currently serving.

We do not believe there will be any disruption of service in regard to providing after school care, but we are in the midst of working out the details.  As parents, you should not see any difference other than personnel, in the after school care of your children as we move in a new direction. We are hopeful that we will be able to provide a summer program as well, just as we have in the past, but our immediate focus is on providing continuing care through the remainder of the school year.

We would like to thank Mrs. Judy Trent for her years of service to Pleasanton Public Schools and those families and children she has served. We wish her well in her new career!
