I grew up in Blair, NE and moved to Kearney after high school to attend UNK. I have a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies along with my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate (both from UNK) as well as my Masters in Early Childhood Education (from Concordia). I current live in Pleasanton with my husband Tony and our three kids, Brody , Brock , and Sadie. We are a big outdoors family who loves to play sports, fish, and hunt. I also enjoy crafting when I get a chance to do so. I absolutely love teaching Pre-K. I love that the students are like sponges, absorbing everything and are so excited to learn (plus they still listen at this age to their teacher!). My favorite part about teaching Pre-K is when the students get their ah-ha moments, meaning everything starts to click and their understanding for learning takes off. I have learned so much over the years and I am constantly adjusting my own teaching style based on the current needs of my students.
