Here are some opportunities for Volleyball Camps for grades 2nd - 8th from Mr. Nordby. Please note the deadlines and plan accordingly if you are interested!

Please read the below message from NSAA Assistant Director, Ron Higdon:
Good Morning all,
I wanted to get information out to all school regarding 3rd party vendors selling state wrestling tickets.
We see the high-priced tickets out there on the internet, and we are asking families not to buy them. These are scalpers. Please do not purchase tickets from scalpers. We do not want families to pay these exorbitant prices to see their young people compete.
Although there is a Ticketmaster fee for each transaction when you purchase online through the CHI Ticketmaster website, CHI will never sell our ticket for more than face value which is $10.
We offer our schools the first opportunity to purchase tickets in a group order form and CHI is tasked with allocating those tickets to teams so that they can sit together in groups. This year, after the school group order forms were received, there were more requests than the seating capacity. Therefore, we had to allocate tickets and some schools did not get all their requests filled. No additional reserved seats will be available for sessions 5 and 6. Therefore, CHI cannot offer sessions 5 & 6 online.
Our current process is in place specifically to take care of our schools, their athletes, and families first. The process for allocating and distributing the tickets to schools takes about 3 weeks so waiting until after districts is not an option if we want to make the tickets available to our schools first.
CHI sells reserved seating only for their events and during the COVID year, we did not have the school order form process and only sold tickets online.
Which:
did not allow schools to have large sections together
you could only buy tickets for one session at a time
couldn’t order more than 8 tickets in a session (Ticketmaster transaction fees for each purchase)
opened the door for 3rd party vendors to purchase large amounts of tickets for resale at inflated prices
apparently this is an issue with any large venues across the country for concerts and other popular events
The complaints for that year were enormous and the schools specifically asked to go back to the original order form.
This is only the third year for girls wrestling as a sanctioned sport for the NSAA and having the girls and the boys together, was determined several months ago. However, we will continue to evaluate and make necessary changes to accommodate the needs of all involved.
Thank you
