Several of our Elementary students got to take their turn at the polls & learn about proper voting procedures. The 4th-6th grade students voted for President, while our 2nd grade students voted on which candy they wanted their teacher to bring!

Reminder as we head into winter, these are all examples of when you need to keep your student home from school. Remember, if a student is sent home sick, they must be symptom free (without the aid of medication) for at least 24 hours before they can return. Help us keep the spread of germs to a minimum!
REMINDER: Picture Re-Takes are on Tuesday, November 5th, first thing in the morning. If you are needing re-takes or if your child missed the first day, please make sure they attend. If you need extra picture forms, we have them in the office.
Earlier in October, the 6th grade class attended Inventure Day at Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Students learned about the different skills needed to be entrepreneurs. Each group was given a widget and asked to design a new product using that widget. The students were very creative and enjoyed working with students from Amherst and SEM.

Dear Pleasanton Community,
Greetings, Bulldog Nation. Under the new NSAA rules, all varsity games will now require the use of a shot clock. Pleasanton is seeking a dedicated individual to operate the shot clock during our girls' and boys' varsity games.
If you have a passion for high school basketball and want to give back to the game, this could be a perfect opportunity for you! We will provide training on how to use the shot clock, and we ask for a commitment of at least once a week (our schedule will determine dates) from approximately 5:30 to 9 PM.
If you're interested or have any questions, please contact Casey Loomis at cloomis@pleasantonbulldogs.org or call the school at 308-388-2041.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our athletes!
